What we can help with
Home battery installation for homes and businesses
Battery for your existing solar
We check your current inverter and system, then recommend the best way to add storage to what you already have.
Solar and battery together
Putting both in at once is often the simplest route. We design the two as one system, sized for how you use power.
Choosing the right size
Too small and it runs flat by 9 pm, too big and you pay for storage you never use. We size it from your evening usage.
Backup power options
Choose between keeping essential circuits running in a blackout or a fuller backup setup. We explain what each can and cannot run.
Safe placement and wiring
Batteries have rules about where they can go, for example not inside bedrooms or living spaces. We choose a compliant spot and wire it in properly.
Commissioning and handover
We test the system, set it up and show you how to see what your battery is doing.
Signs a home battery could suit you
- Your solar produces more than you use during the day
- Most of your power use is in the evening
- You want some power during blackouts and storms
- You are planning a new solar system and want it battery-ready
- You would rather use your own solar than export it for a low feed-in tariff

Home battery installation: common questions
Do I need solar panels to install a home battery?
A battery works best with solar, because it stores the power your panels make. You can add one to an existing solar system or install both together.
Is a home battery worth it?
It depends on how much solar you generate, how much power you use in the evening and what you are paid for the power you export. We look at your bills and give you an honest view of whether a battery will stack up for your home.
Will a battery keep my power on in a blackout?
Only if it is installed with backup. Many battery systems do not provide backup by default. We explain the options, such as keeping essential circuits running, and what the battery can and cannot power.
What size battery do I need?
It depends on how much power you use in the evening and overnight, and how much solar you generate. We size the battery from your bills and usage so you are not paying for storage you will not use.
Can you add a battery to my existing solar system?
In most cases, yes. The best approach depends on your current inverter, so tell us the make and model, or send a photo of it, when you ask for a quote.
How do I get a quote for a home battery?
Fill in the quote form or call 0412 229 069. Tell us whether you have solar already and send a recent power bill if you can, and we will get back to you promptly.
